You must first create an Express Entry profile. If nominated by a province, you automatically receive 600 additional points, dramatically boosting your chances of selection.
You apply directly to a province. If nominated, you must then submit a separate Permanent Residence application to IRCC under the non-Express Entry stream.
You must first obtain a genuine, full-time, permanent job offer from an employer designated by an RCIP community. The job must be non-seasonal and match your skills and experience.
After receiving your job offer, you apply to the rural community for a recommendation. The community evaluates your application based on your job offer, your ability to integrate locally, and your genuine intention to live in the area.
Upon approval, you receive your permanent resident status and can begin your new life in the rural community that supported your application.
Once the community recommends you, you can apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residency. You must fulfill all standard immigration requirements including health, security, and criminal background checks.
